Oi amigos,

Since I'll be gone for quite a while, I figured I'd make a place to keep in contact with people, instead of being one of those folks who writes mass emails to all his friends every couple months, which are irritating at best. So for the next couple years, I'll try and keep a bit of a journal and post some pictures of whatever the hell I happen to be up to on my little island. Still, I can't guarantee any form of regularity, because I don't know how reliable my internet connection will be. Plus, I'm lazy. I suppose the whole thing will start in Perth, Australia, where I will be in a couple weeks. So here I go....
